    Hello.

    I’m currently renting, and there aren’t many parks within a few miles of where I live, so while I was fascinated by the building your own pull up bar article, that may not be the most feasible course of action for this point in my life. As we also don’t have room for a large pull up station, I was curious what the general opinion out there might be for a solid, perhaps adjustable-height, door-frame pull-up bar, if you know of such a thing existing.

    Dylan, I actually have that bar as well. I prefer the basic one because it doesn’t leave scuffs on the wall. Also, it is more stable when in place which ultimately is worth not having the wide grip handles. Besides you can still train for levers and one arm pull ups with either one so ultimately the ability to do wide grip pull ups is moot.
