Need advice on stretching

    Hi guys, I searched the website and the forum for some advice on stretching, but didn’t find exactly HOW to stretch properly. I would like to know how much time should you spend stretching and how often to do it. Also I’m interested in the method of stretching, because I searched online and found a ton of articles each suggesting various kinds of stretching techniques (relaxed stretching, tensing and then releasing the muscle, etc.), which is a bit confusing.

    Any advice is much appreciated. 🙂

    Like anything else, there are lots of different opinions on stretching and no single method that is best for everyone.

    I’m currently finishing up a new book on flexibility training that will be out in a few months. The book will contain tons of information that I’m sure you will find helpful.

    In the meantime, I suggest you attend a yoga class. 🙂
